Health insurance in Ohio, explained before you buy it.
Iron Standard Wellness is licensed in Ohio. We help individuals, families, and self-employed Ohio residents figure out which market they belong in, public or private, and then we compare real plans inside it.
How coverage works in Ohio
Ohio uses the federal marketplace at HealthCare.gov for public plans. Public coverage is based on your income and is designed for major pre-existing conditions and people who qualify for government assistance. Private plans are based on your health, are underwritten, and often open up nationwide PPO networks. The first question is always which side fits you. Our open enrollment page walks through that difference in five minutes.
Insurance in Ohio is overseen by the Ohio Department of Insurance. We are licensed there, and we check your doctors against any plan before you enroll.
